Waterfront Park Recreation

Beyond the usual public events and entertainment on Burlington's Waterfront Park, there are many people who take advantage of the parks and pike path for their own amusement. Beyond the typical bike riding, walking, and sitting around activities, there are people juggling, playing musical instruments, shenite swords, single-person and two-people-juggling, unicycling, toss and fetch with dogs, people hanging out with exotic animals, throwing Frisbees, and group sports.

Some even try to make things interesting by trying to juggle 5 to 7 pins or balls at a time or mixing other ideas with the two-man juggling; like, having the two people randomly pick different way of tossing the pins back and forth every few seconds (without warning your partner, of course). So each time you have to catch the incoming pin a different way.

I've also seen where four people juggle as two sets of two jugglers, in such a way that each person is juggling with one other person, and standing next to one of the juggler of the other set. Then, every ten to fifteen seconds one person from each team switches position with the person from the other team that is standing next to him or her. That doesn't sound two bad until you see that they are switching positions while the pins are in the air, so you're catching someone else's pins.
