2001 Vermont Home & Garden Show
Spring is here so it must be time for the largest Home & Garden Show in the State of Vermont! The 2001 Vermont Home & Garden Show will be held April 20-22 at the Champlain Valley Exposition and is sponsored in part by Otter Creek Awnings and Patio Rooms. With over 250 exhibitors occupying five buildings, this is the place to be to one-stop shop for products related to the home and garden. The show hours are Friday, April 20th from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per adult and children under 16 are free. Senior citizens are invited to come on Friday and receive $1 off admission.
To get you into the spirit of spring, the “Garden Display” will be the highlight in the center of the State Building. Exhibitors related to the home and garden will be located around the perimeter of the building. The center will be enhanced with local landscapers and stone companies. This display will give you wonderful ideas for your yards and gardens.
Bring a can of food to the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont’s booth for our annual food drive and receive a balsam seeding, compliments of the HBRANV. The food collected will be donated to local food shelves in the community. By bringing a food item (or several) to the Show you can feed the hungry and help our environment at the same time!
Be sure to stop by the Otter Creek Awning & Patio Rooms booth in the Ware Building for a chance to win a retractable deck awning valued at $2,500.
Workshops on such topics as hiring a contractor, understanding security systems, making non-toxic cleaners, and much more will be offered on Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the State Building.
So, if you are looking for products for the home or garden, the 2001 Vermont Home & Garden Show is the place to be!
