A local holiday tradition returns to
Burlington annually, presented by The
Champlain Arts
Theatre Company (CATCO) The hugely popular The Best Christmas Pageant
Ever by Barbara Robinson returns to the Contois Auditorium stage in
Burlington's City Hall for a four-show run.
Pageant brings the expected warmth of the holiday season with a
delightful twist. Anyone who has ever been involved with the annual
Christmas pageant at school or at church will recognize the trials of Grace
Bradley as she "inherits" the task of directing this year's production.
Most of us, though, have never had to deal with the likes of the
Herdmans--undoubtedly the meanest, nastiest, most inventively awful kids
in the entire history of the whole wide world.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and the newly added HollyDaze Pre-Show
Sing-Along together features a cast of over 35 children and 10 adults.
Numerous sets of talented parents and their children will share the stage
this year. Some ensemble members are making their 2nd and 3rd appearances
in this holiday classic.
As with our auditions, so too audience response continues to grow each
year. We strongly urge you to order tickets early through the Flynn
Theatre Box Office. Hundreds have already made this a holiday tradition
for family, friends, and employees.
Dates & Times: Prices:
The performance will from the first Friday to the first Sunday of December. Tickets will cost eight dollars for adults (age 15+) and $6.50 for students and seniors.
