The Annual Essex Fall Craft & Fine Art Show

For over 20 years, Vermont Craft Workers, Inc. has been doing their annual Essex Fall Craft & Fine Art Show around the last weekend of October (Friday 12-8, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 10-5) at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, Vermont. Free parking and on-site shuttle service is provided.

The Annual Essex Fall Craft & Fine Art Show, features more than 350 artisans. The show is a festival of traditional, contemporary and country crafts, fine art, gourmet food, demonstrations and live entertainment.

A small sampling of crafts presented from across the US and Canada includes: baskets, candles, pottery, clocks, photography, clay ornaments, teddy bears, birdhouses, fashions, fragrances, florals, notecards, home accessories, leather & sheepskin , original music, hand-blown glass, gourmet specialties,

Live entertainment includes musicians like Tim Janis composer, performer, and recording artist of traditional Irish and classical sounds. As a performer, Tim has toured the country with his ensemble of outstanding musicians including piano, violin, fiddle, flute, piccolo, guitar, percussion, and vocals. The group successfully manages to blend traditional and contemporary influences into music that exhibits innovation, retains simplicity, and evokes real feelings. Compositions range from lively Celtic dance songs to beautiful Irish ballads.

"Make A Wish Foundation" of Vermont will be the recipient of all proceeds from the raffle of craft and fine art donations from participating exhibitors. Tickets will be sold at the show for chances to win.

The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf will have a drop-off station at the entrance to the show for the purpose of accepting donations of non-perishable food products.

Admission: General $5, Seniors $4, plus the donation of a non-perishable food product to benefit The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf; Children under 12 free. Re-entry Policy: Free re-entry on Sunday with your hand stamp from the day before & the donation of a non-perishable food product.
