The Wooden Indian
He likes to call himself the wooden Indian. He paints himself the color of a wooden Indian statue. He goes onto Church Street and puts a vase next to himself for donations. Then his stands still for a bit, then he will move is such a way as to appear to be mechanical, stands, moves, stands, and so on.

People will gather around to see whether he appears to be real. Every once in a while someone will get up close or even touch him to see if he looks and feels like wood or is human. Then he will move. Sometimes they are surprised and panic, get shaken up, and/or even scream. Occasionally a person casually walking by will be startled, too.

He is retired and does this as a profitable hobby.
